Jewellery Care Instructions

‍To keep your Jac & Pearl pieces looking beautiful for years to come, we recommend the following care guidelines.

General Care

  • Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, or sleeping.

  • Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreen, hairspray, and other chemicals that may cause tarnishing.

  • Put your jewellery on last when getting ready and take it off first at the end of the day.

  • Wipe pieces gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove oils and residue

Gold‑Plated Jewellery

  • Gold plating is delicate and may naturally fade over time with wear.

  • Keep pieces dry and avoid friction with hard surfaces.

  • Store separately to prevent scratching or rubbing against other jewellery.

Sterling Silver

  • Sterling silver naturally oxidises when exposed to air.

  • Store in an airtight pouch or box to slow down tarnishing.

  • Use a silver polishing cloth to restore shine if needed

Pearls & Natural Stones

  • Pearls and natural stones are soft and porous.

  • Avoid exposure to water, chemicals, and direct heat.

  • Wipe gently with a soft cloth — never use polishing agents or ultrasonic cleaners

Storage

  • Store jewellery in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

  • Use individual pouches or compartments to prevent tangling and scratching.

  • Avoid storing pieces in bathrooms or humid environments.

Cleaning

  • Use a soft, lint‑free cloth for regular cleaning.

  • Do not use harsh cleaners, alcohol, or abrasive materials.

  • For deeper cleaning, use mild soapy water (except for pearls and stones), rinse thoroughly, and dry completely.
